It is a July night that never drops out of the high seventies with the ground still saturated, which is what rots lavender, melts delphiniums and quietly ends the Mediterranean and cottage schemes people arrive wanting. So treat any tool, article or render offered "for zone 9" with suspicion: it has been matched to the easy half of your climate.
